PEACOCKS HISTORY IN PICTURES

It's been a tough week for Peacocks as the value fashion retailer went into administration.

Employees of the fashion chain campaigned tirelessly all week in store and through Facebook to save their jobs. Whilst stores are safe for now as they continue to search for a buyer, some 250 people lost their jobs at the company's head office in Cardiff.

Peacocks started as a Penny Bazaar in 1884 and the past few years have seen them expand rapidly both in the UK and Internationally.
